San Cristobal El Principe (Box 25)

The smallest cuban cigars that San Cristóbal make. It is creamy and full of sweetness and chocolate. The Príncipe loads the palate with a fresh and refined mild-medium-bodied smoke. It starts off nutty and floral with the scent of roasted hazelnuts and then delivers a coffee taste at the end.

El Príncipe has a very pleasant smell and can be smoked at any time of the day. It is an excellent-looking cuban cigars with a fabulous dark, silky-smooth wrapper. The cuban cigars draws well and has a razor-sharp burn.

San Cristobal La Punta (Box 25)

San Cristobal El Morro

Features: The San Cristobal de La Habana El Morro features a wooden, dry taste with a slight bitter aftertaste, slightly over-sweet. This cuban cigars has a very good shot. With a very nice appeal as well, El Morro has a very compact and solid ash. The San Cristobal El Morro have an intense taste, very sweet, with vegetal and slightly hot notes. Comment: The San Cristobal de La Habana El Morro is one of the new formats this cuban cigars brand offered to us in its launching, same caliber as a Doble Corona cuban cigars with 14 mm., less length which leads to more power in its last third, compensated by its bonds of medium features. San Cristobal La Fuerza (Box 25)

La Fuerza is a medium-bodied cuban cigars. Rich yet mild, it has a floral and nutty flavor with creamy undertones. Expect to find the floral flavors mixed with earth and leather with a very slight hint of spice. There is a well-thought out evolution of flavors for the duration of the smoke.

Along with El Morro, the La Fuerza size is entirely new and unique to the San Cristóbal brand; it could be described as a ‘Long Robusto’. The cuban cigars’s construction is beautiful with a marvellous dark and oily wrapper. It has an excellent burn, and a good draw which is well-matched to the cuban cigars’s length.

San Cristobal Cuban Cigars de la Habana was officially launched in Havana on November 20th 1999. It is named after the original name for the city, from when it was founded in 1519. San Cristóbal or St. Christopher in honour of Columbus and La Habana after an Indian name for the site.

The cuban cigars were introduced in 1999 to celebrate the city's long history at the threshold of a new Millennium. It was initially launched with four vitolas, all dedicated to the walled defence system of castles and military fortresses in the capital. The cigars are stored in boxes of twenty-five units, which allows for the preservation of the beautiful lithography, one of the traditional characteristics of the Cuban cigar.

The four vitolas are: El Príncipe, a small vitola of 11 millimetres in length and 42 clasp. It is perfect for enjoying with friends and for relaxation. La Punta is an ideal vitola for businessmen being 140 millimetres long and 52 clasp. It is a vitola to be enjoyed after completing a successful business transaction. La Fuerza is 141 millimetres in length and 50 clasp and has a unique balance and strength which gives it a distinct charm. The fourth vitola, El Morro, is a majestic vitola of 180 millimetres and 49 clasp. Its strength and splendour are designed to be enjoyed in a period of relaxation.

All four vitolas use tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region and have a light to medium flavor. All are totally handmade, long filler. Three additional cigars were introduced in 2004 to celebrate the fifth anniversary: the Officios, Mercaderes and Muralla. They are available from La Casa del Habano retailers.
